Bayley opens up about one of her closest friends having to retire.
After a full year away from the WWE former two-time WWE Divas Champion Paige returned in November of 2017 as a member of the RAW roster along with her group 'Absolution'. One month later at a December house show during a six-woman tag match Paige was kicked in the back by Sasha Banks which led to the referee stopping the match. Already having prior neck issues and undergoing neck surgery just one year before, Paige described the following moments after she was kick as one of the scariest times of her life while appearing on 'E&C's Pod Of Awesomeness'.
For the coming months Paige would accompany her group-mates to the ring but would not get physical in any manner. On the post-WrestleMania 34 edition of RAW, the 25-year old ”Raven-Haired Renegade” announced her retirement from the sport of pro wrestling. Many fans and fellow wrestlers were taken aback by Paige's retirement-announcement and it touched many all over. One of the individuals that the news hit was a good friend of Paige's; former RAW Women's Champion Bayley. While Bayley appeared on the latest edition of Sky Sports' 'Lock Up' podcast she opened up about Paige's retirement and spoke on how much it means to her to have Paige as a friend.
