Former NXT Women's Champion Bayley made her surprise debut at WWE Battleground as Sasha Banks' mystery partner, and cleared the air about her main roster status after the show.
While speaking to new backstage interviewer Andrea DeMarco, Bayley spoke about her WWE main roster debut. While it was mentioned by color commentator John Bradshaw Layfield that this was a "ony night only" appearance, Bayley confirmed as much.
"When she called, I said yes. It was a huge honor to make this a special night. I have no words. It was magical. It was a one time thing for tonight. I'm focused on reclaiming the NXT Women's Championship. Anyways, you never know what's going to happen in the WWE," Bayley said.

Banks reaffirmed Bayley's statement saying that anything could happen, teasing that Bayley and herself could eventually become tag team champions. The two joked over who was better friends with Shinsuke Nakamura before leaving.
