Bea Priestley Says STARDOM Reached Out To Her 10 Minutes After WWE Release

Bea Priestley (Blair Davenport in WWE) was released by WWE in February 2025, ending her time with the company after four years.

Priestley was moved from NXT to SmackDown in 2024, but wasn’t used much on television after the initial call up.

Speaking on That Sweet Pop with Dion McCracken & Brad Lewis, Priestley commented on her release and how quickly STARDOM reached out.

“I’m self-aware enough to see my own situation. I’m not oblivious to the fact that I’m not getting booked a lot. There is only so much time where they’re going to see how much I’m getting paid on paper and see how much work I’ve done and be like, ‘She’s costing us more money than she’s earning us.’ I’m not oblivious to how business works. When I got the call, I was just a name on a piece of paper. It was just after Rumble, so they re-signed people to big contracts. They need to make that money back somehow. It was basically, ‘We’re sorry. Due to budget cuts and this and that.’ ‘No worries. Thank you for the opportunity.’ That was it. I think I ended the call on him. I don’t need a big explanation. I think STARDOM actually reached out ten minutes after it got announced on Twitter,” she said.

When the hosts noted that some wrestlers make more outside of WWE with various opportunities that are present in WWE, Priestley said, “I technically am, at this point. I’m contracted now to STARDOM full-time.”

Priestley officially joined STARDOM in August.

Elsewhere during the interview, Priestley commented on main rosters plans that didn’t end up happening. You can find her full comments here.
