Becky Lynch: Dusty Rhodes’ Last Words To Me Were, ‘Shut Up, Becky.’ I Couldn’t Ask For Better Last Words

Dusty Rhodes worked as a producer in NXT before his passing in 2015, helping bring along the likes of Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and more.

Speaking to Cody Rhodes on What Do You Wanna Talk About? Becky recounted Dusty’s last words to her.

“Your dad’s last words to me, do you know this? I was following him around and annoying the shit out of him. I was giving him this idea. ‘I have this pitch, Dusty.’ He goes, ‘Shut up, Becky.’ That was it. Those were his last words. I couldn’t ask for better last words. It was perfect. He was sick of my shit,” Becky said with a laugh.

Becky related the story to Cody’s reply of “Dublin” after she sent him a long text message following his WWE departure in 2016.

Elsewhere during the interview, Becky told the story of helping a woman back into her wheelchair, only for the woman to turn heel on her. You can read the story here.
