Becky Lynch Feels That 2018 Money In The Bank PPV Showed That She Has A Special Connection With Fans

Becky Lynch takes a look back at her journey.

Three years ago, Becky Lynch was drafted to SmackDown Live via the 2016 WWE Draft and she became the first-ever SmackDown Women's Champion. Fast-forward one year later and Becky Lynch was the talk of the WWE fan base as they wanted "The Irish Lasskicker" to become champion once again and then came the first-ever Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match that was won by Carmella by way of James Ellsworth. At the following Money In The Bank pay-per-view last year, each time that Lynch made her way up the ladder, the crowd inside the Allstate Arena went crazy and she feels it was at that point where it showed everyone that she had a special connection with the fans and that was further elaborated on during her interview with 'Mass Live'.

“Every time I stepped foot on the ladder, to win that contract, the crowd went mad. It showed everyone that I have a bond with the audience. That maybe they were sick of me being overlooked, and I really attribute that to everything else that happened,” she said.

Becky Lynch is the current RAW and SmackDown Live Women's Champion and she is slated to defend both of her titles this Sunday at Money In The Bank.
