Eva Marie has been the cause of a lot of mixed emotionas from fans who have tuned in to SmackDown Live for the past couple of weeks, but Becky Lynch said that she enjoys working with her.
In an interview with Channel Guide Magazine, Lynch said that Marie is actually a very hard worker. Lynch has been the woman whom Marie was supposed to wrestle in the past two weeks, but "unforeseen circumstances" prevented Marie from wrestling, including an injury and a 'wardrobe malfunction.'
"Eva Marie is so hard-working," Lynch said. "Yes, she is new. She gets so much flack from fans for being this gorgeous woman who, apparently, they say can't wrestle, but she puts in the hard work. I love working with talent like that. It's a challenge for me, but I feel it's a great spot for me to be in because I can be a leader. I really enjoy that. I remember when I was coming in and having someone to keep you calm and help you through helps. Then you build this confidence. It does help because maybe they don't have that confidence at first, and you are able to bring them through to a good match. Then they come back, and they are so excited. I absolutely love that."
It's been well documented, especially on Total Divas, that Eva Marie is incredibly inexperienced in the ring. . She had been trying to improve, seeking the help of former WWE star Brian Kendrick to teach her pro wrestling fundamentals, even teaching her his finishing move, which she used during her NXT run as "Sliced Red."
