Becky Lynch: I’m A Big Fan Of A Moniker Because I Hate My Name
Becky Lynch has had a number of nicknames over the years, from The Man to Big Time Becks. She is now just the greatest female WWE superstar of all time, and it’s not just her saying it.
A reason for the many nicknames of Becky?
“I’m a big fan of a moniker because I hate my name,” Becky told Nick Viall on Going Deep. “I love Rebecca Quin. Rebecca Quin rocks. What a great name. Lynch, eh. It just doesn’t roll off the tongue. I came up with name that I thought were super cool, and they kept saying, ‘No.’ Eventually, they got a combination of Becky and an Irish name. Lynch was one of the ones they approved. I wanted to keep a bit of my own name so it’s less confusing. I didn’t feel like I could push back, so I was like, ‘Okay.'”
