Becky Lynch Recalls Lying About Having Stunt Performer Experience For 'Vikings' TV Show Audition

Becky Lynch nearly found herself a career in acting.

Prior to the Becky Lynch that wrestling fans now know as "The Man" and as a former two-time SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Becky decided to completely step away from the sport of professional wrestling as a whole. Before becoming the star that she is today Becky thought about becoming a clown as she went to clown college and also nearly secured a role on the TV show 'Vikings'.

Becky stated during an interview with 'FOX News' that when she stepped away from wrestling one of the accolades she pursued was going back to school to get a degree and that did not pan out so she pursued a career in acting. She revealed that she had an audition lined up with 'Vikings' and one of the requirements was stunt performer experience and Lynch told the producers that she had experience when she truthfully did not.

"Going back to college and studying acting was one of those things." Lynch continued, "I left college and I got my acting degree, and I was looking for work. I handed in my resume and headshot to 'Vikings' because they were filming in Ireland. I get a call and it's from 'Vikings',  and they're like, 'Hey, do you do stunts?' And obviously, the way my resume read, because I have all this physical experience, they thought I was a stuntwoman."

Becky then went to wrestling school to train as practice for stunt work and from that point forward she fell back in love with wrestling.
