Becky Lynch Says It Means The World To Her To Be One Of The Headlining Matches At WWE 'Evolution'

Becky Balboa is ready for action.

This upcoming Sunday at WWE 'Evolution', Becky Lynch defends her SmackDown Live Women's Championship against her former friend turned bitter rival and former eight-time WWE Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. The two former members of the "tea club" are ready to knock each other out to the point where one another will not be able to answer the referee's count of ten as they are set to compete in the second Last Woman Standing match in WWE history.

The champion Becky Lynch has been making the rounds over the past few days to promote 'Evolution'. Becky versus Charlotte is one of the headlining matches of the PPV along with Nikki Bella versus Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women's Championship. Among the many outlets that Becky has spoken with over the past few days, she recently sat down with 'New York Daily News' and discussed what it means to her to be one of the headlining matches of WWE's first-ever all-women's PPV.

"It means the world, because that was my whole goal. That's what I set out to do. When I left Ireland, I said, 'I want to make sure that the women's wrestling is the cooling thing on TV' and that's what it is right now." Becky confidently said. "When I was first drafted for SmackDown Live I said I want to make sure this division is the one people watch and the one people talk about. I wanted to make this the most prestigious title in all of WWE. I'm not just talking about the women, I'm talking about all of WWE."

As mentioned, another headlining match for WWE 'Evolution' is Ronda Rousey versus Nikki Bella for the RAW Women's Title. Becky Lynch has stated for months that she would love to step into the ring with "Rowdy" Ronda and reiterated those same sentiments during this interview.

"That would be top of my list, yes [A match with Ronda Rousey], or close to the top. I mean I have a long list. I have a long list of opponents that I want to go through. A long list of women who have earned the right to step into the ring with the champ and I would like to defeat all of them."
