Becky Lynch Says She'd Prefer Her WWE TLC Match To Just Be Against Asuka Because She Earned It

Tomorrow is the big day for Becks.

After being away from the in-ring action for over a month and having to rely on the power of social media to keep herself in the mix, the SmackDown Live Women's Champion "The Man" Becky Lynch is stepping back into the ring to throw down in a sanctioned match for the first time since WWE's European tour in November. Becky has a tall mountain to climb in her first match back as she has to defend her title in the first-ever Women's TLC match at WWE's TLC pay-per-view in a Triple-Threat against Charlotte Flair and Asuka.

The first competitor to climb the ladder and grab the blue-brand's women's title from above will be declared the new champion and ahead of the match Becky did an interview with UPROXX and shared her thoughts on her TLC opponents.

"So here we go, so we’ve got the odds stacked against me again. Asuka is unbelievable. She is a killer. I’ve never had the opportunity to go against her. Charlotte, as much as I don’t like her, is an incredible athlete, an incredible competitor, and probably one of the best in the company, so this is a huge obstacle, and of course, we’re looking at the fact that I have to road test my face, a broken face… and I have to road test that against two of the best in the company." Becky said. "I would have loved for it to be a singles opportunity against Asuka, because again, she earned her way into that match right? She won a battle royal, she earned her way in. Of course, Charlotte was just handed it."

During the interview Becky also stated that she will have her eye on Ronda Rousey's RAW Women's Championship title defense against Nia Jax. To read the full interview, click here.
