Becky Lynch Shares Vince McMahon's Response To Her Concerns About Being On-Screen With Seth Rollins

Becky Lynch was initially concerned about being on-screen with Seth Rollins.

In the summer of 2019, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were engaged in feuds with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, respectively. The real-life couple would end up teaming together at Extreme Rules, defeating their foes in a Winner Takes All Mixed Tag Team Match.

Speaking on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, Lynch shared her worry about being perceived as only Seth's girlfriend but was reassured by Vince McMahon that no such thing would happen. Here is what she said:

"When [Seth] and I were together on-screen, beforehand, I said, 'I'm worried that I'm just going to be Seth Rollins' girlfriend.' [Vince] goes, '[Scoffs], Seth is Becky's boyfriend.'"

Two years later, the pair are married and have a child together. Not only that, but they both perform on Raw as heels, something that Lynch believes makes it easier should their paths ever cross again.

"Now, as heels, it's easier. As good guys, I was The Man and doing my own thing and he's got his own thing. It was weird. As slimy little heels like the two of us are, maybe it's better. I don't know. I don't think there is any rush to get to that or any need to get there. He's got his own thing with Big E, an awesome champion, and I've got my thing going on. If the paths ever cross, we shall see," she said.

Seth was recently appointed to the Raw Survivor Series Team, while Lynch is set to face Charlotte Flair at the November 20 PPV.
