Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair Made Official For WWE Survivor Series 2021

A Champion vs. Champion match has been made official for WWE Survivor Series.

On Sunday, November 21, WWE will present its annual Survivor Series event. One of the hallmarks of the show is the champions from Raw and SmackDown facing off against each other.

During the November 8 episode of WWE Raw, it was confirmed that Becky Lynch (Raw Women's Champion) and Charlotte Flair (SmackDown Women's Champion) will do battle at Survivor Series.

Becky and Charlotte recently moved to their respective brands during the 2021 WWE Draft. As a result, they swapped titles on the October 22 episode of SmackDown. During the segment, Flair was to hand the belt to Lynch, but instead pulled it away and threw it on the mat. Charlotte proceeded to pick up the Raw Women's Title and hand it to Sonya Deville before Becky threw the SmackDown Women's Title at her.

The next day it was reported that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair got into a "heated confrontation" backstage following the main event segment. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp noted, "There were disagreements with how the segment was going to go, they hadn't planned on the belt being thrown down, and there were some words exchanged backstage."

This past weekend, the teams for the Men and Women's Survivor Series matches were announced. Click here to learn more.
