The first match for this year’s revamped Survivor Series has been officially announced.
WWE confirmed that a women’s triple threat between the company’s three brands will take place on Survivor Series. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler will face off at the pay-per-view taking place on November 24.
The news comes after NXT took over SmackDown on November 1 when Baszler attacked Bayley after a match against Nikki Cross and then had a presence early tonight on Raw. Baszler crashed an interview between WWE and Lynch during Raw.
Survivor Series 2019 will be a first for the company as it will be a three-brand competition between Raw, SmackDown and NXT. No other matches have been confirmed for the pay-per-view, but Rey Mysterio did challenge Brock Lesnar to a match for the WWE Championship, but that hasn’t been officially announced.
