Becky Lynch is the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

During Night 1 of WrestleMania 42, Becky Lynch faced AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Title. Lynch received a special entrance on the show as The Wonder Years performed her theme song live.

Throughout the match, fans could see the ongoing beef between Lynch and the referee, Jessika Carr.

In the end, Lynch won the bout after using Jessika as a human shield against Lee. She then slammed Lee on the exposed turnbuckle and followed it up with a Manhandle Slam to close the match.

Lynch is now a 3-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
