Becky Lynch wishes a happy anniversary to SHIMMER.
SHIMMER turns 20 on November 6, opening in 2005 with its first show in Illinois.
The all-women’s promotion was home to the likes of Becky Lynch (Rebecca Knox), Mercedes Martinez, Natalya, Cheerleader Melissa, and more.
On Instagram, Becky posted the following message, congratulating SHIMMER on its 20 year anniversary.
Happy 20th anniversary Shimmer. A very special company and a special time in my life. They gave this punk teenage gal a chance and a platform and I’ll always be grateful.
Lynch competed four times in SHIMMER, including some of her earliest matches in the United States.
SHIMMER ran its last show in 2021.
