Becky Lynch On WWE Reportedly Pushing For Ronda Rousey Return: I Was Wondering When You'd Show

Ronda Rousey hasn't been seen since WrestleMania 35 when she lost a triple threat winner takes all match to Becky Lynch. The bout also featured Charlotte Flair and as a result of Becky's victory, she became the Raw and SmackDown Women's Champions.

On January 24, Fightful Select reported that WWE was "pushing" for Ronda Rousey to return.

Two Bouts Added To AEW Dynasty Zero Hour

The report stated that Rousey's return "has been discussed internally, to the point that it's considered a "poorly kept secret," and has been mentioned to talent outside the company. Fightful was told that Rousey was a name tossed around as a potential Royal Rumble entrant or at least to have some participation in the Rumble, though her involvement beyond that isn't known."

Taking to social media, Becky Lynch weighed in on the report.

Lynch hasn't been pinned or submitted for the Raw Women's Championship since winning it at WrestleMania 35. She did relinquish it in May 2020 after announcing her pregnancy. She returned at WWE SummerSlam 2021 and defeated Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Lynch and Charlotte, who was the reigning Raw Women's Champion, engaged in a title swap ahead of WWE Survivor Series 2021.

Lynch is set to defend the Raw Women's Championship against Doudrop at WWE Royal Rumble. It is unknown if Rousey will be part of the event and she has not been officially announced. You can check out the current lineup for the show by clicking here.
