Ben Bishop Says A Ton Of Talent Approach Him About Filming Skits, ‘It’s Cool As Hell’
Ben Bishop is having the time of his life.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp during WrestleCade weekend, ‘Big’ Ben Bishop spoke about the popularity of his online videos/skits and how wrestlers will often approach him about filming a skit.
“It’s cool with these things. I did this last two years ago and I was doing the skits a little bit. I was a few months into doing them and people some people recognize. But now it’s cool to come to these things. Now every I got a ton of talent asking me like, ‘I want to do a skit, I want to do a skit,’ ‘Let’s do video.’ You pitched one to me. It just goes down the line and I think that’s it’s cool as hell. ‘Cause I started this six some odd years ago.”
Bishop continued to reflect, saying that he never thought he’d be sought after on the independent scene.
“Six years ago I never thought I’d be brought in to sign things. I never thought that I’d be sought after on the Indies. It’s just cool to like say that—it’s gonna sound like I have a big head—but I did it on my own. I don’t have a big company fucking pushing all my shit, just kind of gradually genuine building up a brand for myself and when people put me in the same vein of like the Cardona’s or like the Hendry’s or like people like that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Bishop talked about the differences between both of his tryouts with WWE. Check out his full comments on the matter by clicking here.
