The AEW Trios titles have been rumored for over a year, but nothing has been made official by the company.
AEW has become known for their factions with the majority of the roster having someone watching their back.
While it is unknown if or when the AEW Trios Titles will come to fruition, The Best Friends have mixed opinions on whether they even want them at all.
"I always feel like less belts, less championships -- Wow, so in WWF mode, let me correct myself for saying belts. Less belts is a good thing, but it'd be cool to have a trios. Maybe I'm pro trios titles," Trent told Stephanie Chase.
Chuck Taylor weighed in by saying, "Only if we win them. If anyone else wins them, hell no. Get rid of them. Belts are heavy and they always make you take them out at security when you fly. As long as we don't actually have to carry them with us. I have a PWG belt and it's like 700 pounds and everyone is like 'what is this, WWF?' and they try to wrestle you. It sucks."
Finally, Orange Cassidy gave a very Orange Cassidy response.
"I don't care either way," he remarked.
While Trent has been out of action following neck fusion surgery, Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor have linked up with Wheeler Yuta.
