Bianca Belair Reveals That She Has Slipping Rib Syndrome, Discusses Being A Role Model, More

Bianca Belair wants to shine.

The undefeated "EST Of NXT" Bianca Belair is on the rise in NXT's women's division and wants to back up her words about being the best by one day becoming the head honcho of the women's division. But for now it is one step at a time for Bianca and one of those steps came when she made her WWE main-roster debut this past April at WrestleMania 34 in the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and had a signature moment when she delivered a 450-splash during the match.

On NXT TV Bianca's confidence oozes through the television and she brings that same confidence with her while being interviewed off and on NXT TV. Bianca was recently profiled by Doric Sam of 'The Undefeated' and during their discussion "The EST" revealed that she is living with slipping rib syndrome which is when an individual's cartilage on their lower ribs continuously slips and moves and that brings said individual tremendous amounts of pain. Bianca stated that she has not had a problem with it in years and has figured out a way to avoid the pain.

“I’ve figured out ways to maintain it. Luckily, I haven’t had any issues with it here,” she said. “I’ve figured out certain movements to stay away from, and even when I feel my rib slip to the back, I know how to get it back in there. That’s been like a four-year process of figuring it out, how to maintain that. It’s all good now.”

Bianca is a role model to many young ladies watching her on the WWE Network. Bianca shared that one of the most important parts about what she does is that she has family member, young African-American women and women in general looking at her as what they could possibly be one day.

“I am who I am, I look how I look, I talk how I talk, and this is who I am,” she said. “That’s one of the most important parts about all of this. I have little nieces and I have little girls who look up to me, and other little girls that I don’t know — black little girls that look just like me. It’s very important for me to be someone that they can look at and see that this is something that I wanted to do, and I’m doing it.”
