Big E: I'd Love To See Xavier Woods Be A World Champion, He's Deserving

Big E is ready for Xavier Woods to get his moment.

The New Day is arguably the most successful trio of all time in WWE, winning the WWE Tag Team Titles on multiple occasions and having some of the longest title reigns in WWE history. Individually, Kofi Kingston and Big E are former World Champions and former Intercontinental Champions.

Xavier Woods is a former King of the Ring, but he has yet to taste singles gold.

"That's something that, obviously, he's so talented and something that we've been pushing for," Big E told Steve Fall of Ten Count when asked about Woods potentially winning the WWE Championship. "He is a guy who, people know how talented he is, but I still feel in many ways he's one of the most underrated guys on the roster. He's still so incredible and so worthy and deserving. I always want the best things for both of partners. Woods is definitely a guy, I'd love to see him get a real run at a singles title. I know he's been talking about the IC Title as of late, and going from there. I'd love to see him be a World Champion. He's deserving."

Woods recently mentioned that he'd like to bring back the white leather strap if he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Big E has been sidelined since March 2022 with a neck injury and there is no timeline for his return. Woods & Kingston will be in action on Monday's WWE Raw when they face Matt Riddle & Drew McIntyre.
