- After tossing Kevin Owens off of the ThunderDome stage last week on SmackDown, Universal Champion Roman Reigns called out WWE Official Adam Pearce to take issue with his actions.

- After being told that Big E retained his title due to a draw, Apollo slapped the Intercontinental Champion. The match was restarted but things didn't go so well for the challenger.

- After being reinstated last week, Sonya Deville paid Adam Pearce a visit, saying that she wants to put the past behind her and is grateful and happy for the opportunity to help Pearce, feeling like he needs it.

- Bayley and Bianca Belair both declared themselves for the 2021 Royal Rumble match.

- Sasha Banks was named as Sports Illustrated's Top Superstar of 2020, but Carmella believes that she will always be better than The Boss.

- Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode defeated The Street Profits to win the WWE SmackDown Tag Team titles.

- After helping them win last week, Billie Kay continued making her case to become the newest member/mentor of The Riott Squad. Her pitch: "I can be punk, I can be edgy. I've been listening to Blink182 recently."

- Shinsuke Nakamura had an impressive performance in the #1 Contender Gauntlet Match, eliminating Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin, and Daniel Bryan.

- After being called out by Roman Reigns earlier in the night, and being forced into the main event by Paul Heyman, Adam Pearce "earned" a Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble after the Tribal Chief and Jey Uso laid waste to Shinsuke Nakamura.
