Big E: Seeing The Pop That Dominik Mysterio Got In AAA, Incredible

The reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio, made a surprise appearance at AAA’s July 25th event to set up his addition to the AAA Mega Championship match at Triplemanía XXXIII on August 16th. It’ll be El Hijo del Vikingo defending the belt against Mysterio, El Grande Americano, and Dragon Lee.

Mysterio’s name came up on a new episode of Raw Recap featuring Big E. He was speaking about Dominik’s upcoming I.C. Title defense against A.J. Styles at SummerSlam and threw praise in Dominik’s direction.

“As much as I love Dom and look, I was there at WrestleMania on that Countdown desk after he won the I.C. Title. Seeing the adoration he got, this dude is a superstar. Seeing the pop that he got in AAA, incredible. Incredible. I am not taking anything away from Dominik Mysterio…”

Mysterio was in a six-person tag team match on the July 28th Monday Night Raw and was pinned by Styles. Styles teamed with The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) to defeat Dominik and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
