Big E is getting his roses today with the release of the new WWE 24 documentary about him, and it's bringing up some fond memories.
One of those was when Big E's New Day met another one of the greatest tag teams of all-time, Edge & Christian at the September 7, 2015 episode of WWE Raw. The two sides went back and forth, until an angered Big E yanked Christian's Kazoo from him and.....gummed it.
We asked Big E if he thought the kazoo would crumble like Sami Zayn in an Intercontinental title match, and he admitted yes, he did.
The situation ended in a staredown between Big E and Christian before the Dudley Boyz showed up. Just another reason Big E and Christian need to have a match. The two teams would lightly continue their feud until WWE Fastlane 2016.
They were planned to do battle in a kazoo vs. trombone battle, but instead we were treated to a musical number featuring all five clowning The League Of Nations -- Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, Rusev and Sheamus.
Christian has since returned to the ring at the 2021 Royal Rumble, clearly to get the Intercontinental Title match he's owed by Big E, and gain revenge for his kazoo.
