Big E: We Often See Heels Win Money In The Bank, I Would Love To Bring A Whole New Energy To This

Big E is ready to bring new energy to Money in the Bank.

One year ago, Big E began a journey in the singles division that would take him to the WWE Intercontinental Championship and now, to the WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Big E acknowledged that while it is typically a villainous wrestler that gets this role, he is looking forward to bringing a new energy to the Money in the Bank briefcase.

“If it’s my time to grab that briefcase, I will do everything in my power to make it unique and to make it different,” said Big E, whose name is Ettore Ewen. “It would be a new challenge, one that I would love to take on. I know we often see heels in that position, I would love to bring a whole new energy to this.”

He continued, “This is all new ground for me, and it’s such an exciting time. “There are going to be no regrets. I will do everything in my power to bring something special to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

The last time a good guy won the Money in the Bank briefcase was Otis just last year but he did not get to cash it in because he lost the briefcase to The Miz.

Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Money in the Bank on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
