Big E: When I Broke My Neck, I Still Had About Another Two Years On My WWE Contract

When Big E went down with his career-ending injury, he had several years left on his contract.
It has been four years since Big E suffered his broken neck injury, which put him on the shelf, leading to his retirement from in-ring competition.
While guest appearing on The A2theK Wrestling Show, Big E shared that when he suffered that injury, he had about two and a half years left on his WWE contract.
“I think when I broke my neck, I was only about halfway through my five-year deal so I still had about another two and a half years on my wrestling contract.”
Big E now serves as an ambassador for WWE and co-hosts the Premium Live Event kickoff and post-shows. In the same interview, he opened up about Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed a.k.a. Xavier Woods departing WWE.
