The Big Show Plays A Role In 'The Bar' Becoming SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions On WWE SmackDown 1000

The Bar is back on top of the mountain.

The 1000th episode of WWE SmackDown 1000 is almost complete and the final two matches of the night were Rey Mysterio versus Shinsuke Nakamura, and The Bar versus The New Day for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships. The two duos have battled each other on RAW and SmackDown over the past two years and have both taken championships off one another.

Recently at the WWE Super Show-Down PPV in Melbourne, Australia, Sheamus and Cesaro challenged The New Day in the opening contest of the show but fell short in the match. On tonight's super show The Bar got their rematch and it was a hard-hitting and fast-paced bout per usual when these two teams get in the ring together.

After battling for a little over eight minutes, the ending of the match brought a shocking surprise as the former 4-time WWE World Champion The Big Show came out and attacked Kofi Kingston who was the corner-man to Xavier Woods and Big E. The Big Show's attack distracted Big E who was the legal man and once Big E's attention got back to the match, he ate a "Brogue Kick" from "The Celtic Warrior" and Sheamus pinned Big E to win the titles for his team and with the assist of The Bg Show, The Bar are now 5-time WWE Tag Team Champions.

WWE Crown Jewel has some new additions to the card so head over to Fightful's "events" section to get caught up on everything. Also, following the end of SmackDown 1000, Fightful will be streaming live to review tonight's show in its entirety.
