- In an interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, NWA president Billy Corgan discussed his responsibilities with the NWA and the Smashing Pumpkins. He noted that his work with the NWA gives him an escape from his other stresses, but balancing it all can be challenging.

- Karl Fredericks teased that he might wrestle again. His most recent match was on September 3; he defeated Kevin Blackwood at the West Coast Pro/Prestige Wrestling Savage Mode II.

- Kurt Angle commented on the 20-year anniversary of Team Angle and said the trio ended too soon.

- In a post on the La Lutte à RDS Facebook page, RDS in Canada announced that the December 28 episode of AEW Dynamite would be the last to air on the station due to budget constraints.

- Prestige Wrestling announced that KC Navarro is no longer able to compete at its "The Things We Carry" event on December 30. As a resutlt, Alan Angels will face Alec Price instead.

- Jessica Elaban, formerly known as Jessi Kamea in WWE, stated that she wants to wrestle more in 2023. WWE released Elaban on November 5, 2021.

- Yoya thanked everyone for their support.

- Alex Windsor shared a picture ahead of her surgery.

- Dirty Dango, formerly known as Fandango in WWE, will face Channing Thomas at the "New Year, New Matches" event on January 1; the show will be held at The Vault in New Bedford. The event will also feature a mixed team match, where Little Mean Kathleen and Teddy Goodz will face “Dime Piece” Aaron Rourke and “International Pop Star” B3CCA.
