Bishop Dyer looks back on his time in WWE and if he was ever considered for a WWE Universal title reign.
During Dyer’s over a decade with WWE, he would challenge for several of the companies most prominent titles, including the WWE Universal Championship on several occasions. However, Dyer would come up short on any challenges for world titles in the company during his time there.
While speaking to The Sportster in a new interview, Bishop Dyer would speak on his futile challenges for the WWE Universal Championship, noting that Vince McMahon ‘dangled that carrot’ in front of him.
“I mean, Vince always kind of dangled that carrot in front of me and I always worked for like three or four years. I was in the main event every week, and it was with Seth, it was with Roman, it was with Kurt, it was with Braun. It was all of those guys that really do a great job carrying the company and had a lot of opportunities. It just never came to fruition, unfortunately. So you never know, though.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Dyer looked back on finding out he would hit the End Of Days on Becky Lynch. You can read more about that here.
