BJW’s Koshiro Asakura Suffers Torn ACL & Meniscus Injury

He’ll be sidelined for a year.
Taking to X, Big Japan Pro Wrestling talent Koshiro Asakura revealed that he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus injury. He noted that it seems like it’ll take a year for him to recover.
In his post, Asakura kept a positive mindset and noted that his spirit is not torn, and giving up on pro wrestling is not an option. Big Japan chimed in with the following quote tweet:

After a knee injury sustained during #bjw Korakuen Hall event on July 27th, Asakura is going to be out of action for approximately 1 year.

Asakura began his in-ring career in 2024 with Big Japan. He has tallied up 69 matches thus far. Asakura is 27 years of age.
