Blair Davenport gets a big win on the NXT No Mercy kickoff show.
Kelani Jordan showed up and showed out in her NXT premium live event debut, but in the end, the experience edge of Davenport edged out the victory.
Following the match, Gigi Dolin hit the ring to try to get her comeuppance on Davenport.

Davenport was initially scheduled to face Dolin on the September 26 episode of WWE NXT, but a backstage assault by Davenport on Dolin prevented the match from happening. It was ultimately that assault that gave Kelani the idea to challenge Blair to this major one-on-one contest.
Prior to this match, Jordan was involved in a storyline with Dana Brooke. WWE unfortunately released Brooke on Thursday, September 21. Fans can read Brooke's thoughts on her WWE departure here.
