Blake Christian Reflects On ROH World Title Match Against Claudio Castagnoli

Blake Christian discusses his experience with ROH.

Christian has wrestled for a number of companies, including Game Changer Wrestling, IMPACT, and NJPW. He had a brief run in WWE; he signed with the company in February 2021, and WWE released him in November that year. Since then, Christian has returned to the independent scene, and he has wrestled on an increasingly regular basis for AEW. He has also competed at all three of the ROH pay-per-views since Tony Khan acquired the company in March 2022.

Speaking with Koffin Radio, Christian was asked to share his thoughts on working with ROH. He made it clear that he has enjoyed his experience. Christian highlighted his recent title match against ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli on the January 30 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation and stated that he just wants to wrestle.

“I enjoy it. I recently just wrestled Claudio for the Ring of Honor World Championship. I think I was very blessed to be put in that position, and Claudio’s great. I just want to wrestle. When I’m doing that, that’s when I’m having the most fun. Anytime that I’m wrestling, I’m always enjoying it," Christian said.

When asked to describe his plans for his time in AEW, Christian made it clear that he's focused on having great matches and wrestling.

Tony Khan recently confirmed that ROH's TV show will premiere on HonorClub on March 2. More information is available here.
