Blake Monroe: “I’m A Big Investor In The Kendal Grey Stocks… I Advocate For Her Heavily”

Monroe shows support for Grey.

There was high praise for former WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey during a recording of Cheap Heat. Fellow NXT talent Blake Monroe was a guest on the show, and she expressed that she heavily advocates for Grey.

“I’m a big investor in the Kendal Grey stocks. I actually put Grey Graps on the map because when I first went to the P.C., me and Kenny were in the same class. She’s amazing. She’s so talented but she’s such a cool chick. But yeah, I remember watching her on EVOLVE and every Wednesday, I would go crazy for the Grey Graps. I got that over. I don’t know who on Twitter is like, ‘Eh –’ I came up with it. I advocate for her heavily and I’m so excited for her that she’s getting to show her talents… getting to be now on NXT TV. She got to wrestle Jacy (Jayne). That was a fantastic match. She’s just getting started. She’s so talented and I would be really, really excited to work with her and I feel like I could bring something out of her in terms of her promo and her character, and I think she could challenge me a little bit with the wrestling because she actually was a legit ground wrestler or whatever you Americans do. She was on the mats, you know, with her headgear on, like actually shoot wrestling so, I’d be really excited to actually mix it up with her but I’m excited to watch her. She’s definitely gonna be a huge, huge star.”

Grey was reigning as EVOLVE Women’s Champion, but she vacated the belt and is now focusing on being a full-time member of the NXT roster.
