Blake Monroe Says ‘People Are Very Impatient’ About Her WWE SmackDown In-Ring Debut

Blake Monroe asks fans to be patient for her in-ring debut.
WWE announced in April that Blake Monroe is headed to SmackDown. Fans have been waiting for Monroe to make her in-ring debut on the brand for five months now, but it still hasn’t happened yet.
Over the SummerSlam weekend last month, Monroe spoke with SPORF and said the following about this.
“People are very impatient, have you guys never taken time and care with anything? When you’re dating a woman, what do you think is going to happen on the first date? I’m betting it doesn’t happen, whatever you’re thinking. You have to wait for a good thing. I have always documented my journey very well so I have a strong fanbase that have seen me go from the independent scene to Japan to America, now to NXT and WWE. So they’re so invested in me and want me to do well. People can get nervous or scared and I understand that, but you have to have patience. Timing is everything. But I think that’s why people are invested in me, because they know me.”
Monroe was originally scheduled to make her SmackDown in-ring debut against Giulia on the August 21 edition of the show. Before her match with Giulia could start, Monroe attacked her, and the bout never began. Their match was rescheduled for September 4, but this time, Giulia attacked Monroe before it could begin.
In another interview, Monroe said that she’s got something better than her mirror entrance planned for the main roster. Fans can read more about it here.
