Bo Nickal is returning to his roots.
On Wednesday, July 2, Real American Freestyle revealed the signing of Bo Nickal, even announcing that he’ll compete at the company’s debut event on August 30.
This announcement comes just weeks after Nickal suffered his first loss in UFC, falling to Reinier De Ridder by TKO back in May.

This will be a return to form for Nickal, as he has a long history with freestyle wrestling. From 2016 to 2021, Nickal competed in 38 different matches, winning 28 of them.
Nickal won the U23 World Championships and US Open Championships in 2019. In addition to that, he was a finalist of the US Olympic Team Trials in 2020, as he almost got the chance to represent the US at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Back in May, Eric Bischoff stated that he was talking to two different platforms about acquiring media rights for Real American Freestyle. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
