Bobby Lashley and Santos Escobar have advanced in the WWE United States Championship top challenger tournament.
On December 8, 2023, WWE began its tournament to determine who would challenge Logan Paul for the WWE United States Championship. In the first two matches of the tournament, Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley advanced.
Escobar defeated Dragon Lee in the first match of the tournament. Dominik Mysterio, Lee's opponent at WWE NXT Deadline, was ringside to watch Lee lose the match.
Then, Bobby Lashley defeated Karrion Kross to punch his ticket to his next round.
