During the November 8 episode of WWE Raw, Adam Pearce spoke to Rey and Dominik in the ring and expressed his concern over Dominik being the only person on the team who isn't a former world champion. He then said that he could keep his spot on the team if he won a match, right now. As Pearce walked to the back, Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring, accompanied by a returning MVP.

The All Mighty manhandled Dominik, extending the match on a couple of occasions when he could have already ended it. He eventually applied a second Hurt Lock and held it long enough for Mysterio to tap out. As a result, Lashley will replace Dominik on the Raw Survivor Series team.
