Booker T Comments On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return
Booker T comments on a big return.
Night two of WWE SummerSlam was headlined by a Street Fight between John Cena and Cody Rhodes. In the end, Rhodes prevailed and regained the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cena.
After the match, Brock Lesnar made his shocking return to the company, destroying Cena with a F-5 in the process. This return ignited a ton of controversy in the world of wrestling, with my fans discussing Lesnar being implicated in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE in 2024.
Speaking on the latest edition of the Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T spoke about Lesnar’s return.
“I’m glad he’s got past this drama, you know what I mean? The hardest thing when you’re going through drama is just having to sit back and not being able to say anything. I’m glad he’s got his name cleared and now he’s able to get back in the ring and do what he does best. Brock Lesnar has had a hell of a Hall Of Fame career, he’s definitely been one of the best that this business has ever seen. The thing is, he didn’t do it the traditional route like most wrestlers as far as going out there and having so-called five star matches. He just went out there and beat the hell out of guys where you say, ‘Man, that was five stars.’ [laughs] Brock coming back, having his name cleared, that’s huge. This world that we live in today, all it takes, boom. It’s one allegation or one accusation and your life can be uprooted totally. I’m just glad to see him back in the ring doing what he does best.”
John Cena is set to appear on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, where he’ll likely address Lesnar’s attack.
