Booker T Calls Oba Femi A Generational Talent Who Could’ve Thrived In Any WWE Era

Booker T is asked if he has any input on NXT Champion Oba Femi’s career direction. He confirms that he does not, but finds “The Ruler” to be a generational talent.

Booker T calls all of the action on WWE NXT. Oba Femi has been a staple of the brand for the last two years, capturing both the WWE NXT Championship and the WWE NXT North American Championship. Also, he seldom loses. Booker believes that with his massive presence, Femi is a generational talent who could have fit in any decade of WWE programming.

Booker T expressed praise for Oba Femi during a recent interview with Esports Insider, confirming to the outlet that all he needs to do is be the hype man for the massive NXT Champion.

The only thing I do with Oba is hype him up. I tell him how good he is. He’s very green in the business, but he’s so smart already. He’s a generational talent, he could have worked in the seventies, the eighties, and the nineties,” he said. “He stands heads and shoulders above so many in this business already, just three years in. So I’m like Oba Femi’s hype man, he does so many things so well, and I don’t think you could teach it just. It’s just something that is in his DNA, so I love what Oba is doing, he’s one of my, one of my favourite guys.”
