Booker T shares his thoughts on All Elite Wrestling and their addition of Chris Jericho.
On a recent episode of his Heated Conversations podcast, Booker discussed Chris Jericho signing with AEW and what he brings to the company.
"In my Hall of Fame speech I said, when we got Sherri Martel, we got our legitimizer who put us on the map. When we rode with her, doors opened," stated Booker. "She made us viable and made people say, 'These guys may have what it takes to be the Tag Team Champions.' That alone was the spark behind the flame. Chris Jericho behind (AEW) is a legitimizer. It's saying, We've got a major player that's done it all over the world. As well as, Jericho is that teacher. He's that guy that's gonna say, 'We need to do it this way.' He's not just along for the ride and picking up a check."
On a recent episode of his own podcast -- Talk is Jericho -- Jericho himself expressed his excitement over joining AEW. He compared his joining AEW to when he jumped from WCW to WWE in 1999 and stated that he wanted to do something different and be challenged. You can view Jericho's comments on his jump here.
