Booker T is returning to NXT.
NXT commentator Booker T previously missed NXT Vengeance Day, as he announced that he underwent a procedure that would sideline him for several weeks. On February 19, he stated that he would be returning to NXT in about a week.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T confirmed that he would be returning to NXT on the February 27 episode.
“Everybody want to know why you feeling so good. Why you feeling so good? Well, I’m going back to work. I’m going back to work tomorrow guys. Make sure you catch me on NXT. I can’t wait to get back. I’m excited. I’m probably about 98%, and I’m good to go. I can’t wait to get back to the table with my man, Vic Joseph," Booker T said.
Co-host Brad Gilmore then asked Booker T to describe how he was feeling, and he made it clear that he felt good, as his procedure went well and he healed quickly. He reiterated that he was looking forward to returning to work.
"I feel good. I feel good. My procedure went very, very well. I healed up pretty quickly. I’m not in any pain or anything right now, so I’m looking forward to getting back to work. I hate being idle, sitting at home, not doing a whole lot," Booker T said.
