Booker T Doesn't Understand Sasha Banks Complaining About Her Current Role In WWE

Booker T gives his thoughts on Sasha Banks currently sitting on the sidelines.

Fans haven't seen Sasha Banks since WrestleMania 35 when she & Bayley lost the Women's Tag Team Titles to The IIconics in a fatal four-way match. Banks was reportedly upset over WWE's decision to take the titles of herself and Bayley and wanted to leave WWE over their decision, as well as the decision to split the Boss N Hug Connection during the Superstar Shake-Up. Banks was given time off to think about her decision.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T weighed in on Sasha's frustrations on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast.

"There are those ones like Sasha Banks, who has all that talent and rises up to that top level and gets there and then realizes that it is not what she thought it was going to be because the reason is that it is not all about you. It is never going to be about you," said Booker. "One of the reasons why I am still here today is I never really cared about what the script was. Give it to me and let me go out and get it done. If it was something that I didn’t disagree with, I was going to go out there and get it done. If I had disagreed with it, I would have said, 'Hey, I don’t agree with this. Let’s change this because I am not doing it this way.' Then they would change it, and that is the way business was always been done with me. I can’t say that with everybody, but with me, that was how it was done. I never looked at (wrestling) as anything but entertainment. I never looked at it like it was anything but storylines. Sasha Banks has had a lot of success. How many women get in the business that never win?"

Booker went on to compare Sasha to Ember Moon, who works hard, isn't in a top spot, yet doesn't complain about her position.

Booker continued, "Sasha Banks has had more life-changing moments than so many that have walked into this business. She is made. She can do anything she wants as far as this business goes from what she has gotten from this business. So, I don’t understand it. I don’t understand a lot of this stuff that goes on these days. We are in a totally different world right now as far as the wrestling business goes. Hey man, for me, it was all about the money and taking care of my family. Create moments and memories along the way be able to touch people to change their lives."

The latest update on Banks and WWE is that the two sides are at a "stalemate." WWE was reportedly hopeful that Banks would return for Money In The Bank, but she was not announced as being part of the Women's Money in the Bank match.
