Booker T feels Zelina Vega is setting herself up to be a part of WWE for a long time to come.
Recently, large chunks of Monday Night Raw have been dominated by Zelina Vega and her business associates, Andrade, Austin Theory, and Angel Garza. The triad has slowly but surely come together in the weeks following WrestleMania 36 and it has led to a lot of airtime for not only the three of them but Zelina Vega as well.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T gave his opinion on the budding stable as well as Zelina Vega’s ability as a manager.
“Austin Theory, the guy can actually go out and work and to see these guys actually get an opportunity it's really, really cool stuff,” said Booker. “With Andrade and Zelina, it actually opens a door for [Theory] to actually be able to become a superstar sometime in the future. I think Andrade, the kid [has] got ‘Superstar’ written all over him. He's just got to find his niche. He's got to find his spot.”
He continued, “I really feel like having that opportunity for Zelina... she's taking full advantage of it. I tell you, anybody that gets that kind of airtime, I tell you guys it's worth its weight in gold. It is worth his weight in gold, but you still have to go pan for it. It's like a miner. You gotta make sure you have a little pan, looking for gold bits and that's what Zelina's doing right now, she's definitely panning for gold. She's definitely set herself up for a spot that is going to last for quite some time around the company. So, I appreciate her. Definitely doing a great job.”
