Former NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria has quickly gained a lot of momentum since she got drafted to WWE Raw. Her opponent will be determined on the May 24 episode of WWE SmackDown, where Bianca Belair will face Nia Jax in the other semi-final match.

Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast with co-host Brad Gilmore, Booker T was asked to share his thoughts about the Queen of the Ring tournament. Gilmore wondered who the win would benefit the most, and he pointed to Lyra Valkyra.

"No-brainer, man. I feel the same way. Lyra, if she wins it, just getting up to the main roster, that’s putting the rocket on her. That’s putting the rocket on her and sending her straight to the moon. You know what I always talk about as far as the King of the Ring and the Queen of the Ring tournament, it’s cool being in the tournament. Winning it is something totally different. But I do feel like Lyra Valkyria, she’s different. There’s something about her, and watching her in NXT for just about a year and five months, six months, and then she’s on the main roster, she’s moving at an astronomical pace. To watch her in the ring, her performance is on-point. She knows exactly what she’s doing in the ring at such a young age. So for her to have that mantle, Queen of the Ring, it would be awesome for that young lady," Booker T said.

Matt Hardy recently named Bianca Belair as his pick for the Queen of the Ring tournament. Check out his comments here.
