Booker T: Main Event Mafia Was A Better Faction Than Bloodline, By Far

Booker T makes a bold claim.

The Main Event Mafia was a relatively short-lived group in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling that consisted of legends like Sting, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Samoa Joe, and Christian Cage.

The Bloodline has outlasted the run of Main Event Mafia as the storyline is going on three years and is headed by Roman Reigns along with his family Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa.

Speaking on Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T was asked a simple question, which was the better faction?

“Main event mafia was a better faction, by far. But I think The Bloodline has had one of the best runs any faction could ever have, probably the best. But I just say better faction because we had some major players, and we weren’t a family. We was a faction," stated Booker.

When co-host Brad Gilmore noted that Bloodline has been a better story than Main Event Mafia, Booker said, "Yeah, I agree 100%, but I just feel like we never got a chance to really explore how good the Main Event Mafia really could have been in the right situation."

The original incarnation of the Main Event Mafia ended in October 22, 2009, almost one year to the day that they formed.

The Bloodline story may or may not be beyond the bottom of the third inning.
