Booker T is a busy man these days. Between working for the WWE as a pre-show analyst, to running Reality of Wrestling, the former WCW Champion still found time to take make a rare independent appearance.
Booker T showed up in Norfolk, Virginia at VCW Wrestling's 10th Annual Libery Lottery event, where he signed autographs and talked to the crowd. Booker noted that he had an injured elbow that prevented him from doing his signature spinaroonie. Title Match Wrestling posted a video, which you can check out below.
That's not all Booker is up to, as the aforementioned Reality of Wrestling show continues to be a passion of his. The promotion announced that he, Sharmell and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle will be appearing at their third annual Summer of Champions event on August 20. Reality of Wrestling will hold its third annual Summer of Champions (SOC III) event on August 20th from the World Gym Arena in Texas City, TX. This signature event promises to be bigger and better than previous years as Olympic Gold medalist and former WWE Superstar Kurt Angle will make a special guest appearance! Join us for an unforgettable night, where all titles will be put on the line. The event is preceded by a VIP Meet and Greet session to feature WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Kurt Angle and the lovely Queen Sharmell.
This will be the first SOC event to be hosted at Reality of Wrestling’s 20,000 sq. ft. event and training facility. On this huge milestone for his company, Booker T had this to say, “This is the event of the summer right here! If you thought Summer of Champions I and II were good then this one is going to blow you away. Don’t miss it, don’t get shut out. Now can you dig that?
