Booker T says Jason Jordan is irritating, but a capable wrestler.
Jordan has been featured on Raw in recent months ever since he was revealed to be Kurt Angle's son on television. Over that time, he's been seen in high profile matches, but has also received criticism from Booker T who has been on Raw's commentary team. On Heated Conversations, Booker T once again discussed Jason Jordan and his distaste for the wrestler.
"Jason Jordan is one of those that can irritate you. He can get under your skin. He can make you not like him. You know what I mean? In professional wrestling that's a very good quality," said Booker T.
During his own career, Booker T was seen as a villain at various times, most notably as King Booker. He mentioned this to emphasize how impactful a fan's displeasure with a wrestler can be.
"People have come up to me this many years later after I played King Booker, over ten years. People come up to me and go 'Man, I hated you when you were King Booker, couldn't stand you. Now I understand why I didn't like you.' Jason Jordan, he's one of those guys. He also goes out and performs at a very high level," said Booker T. "Jason Jordan is a very apt and capable professional wrestler," he added.
Booker T also discussed how Jason Jordan worked with him during Tough Enough. He said he had high hopes about Jordan then in regards to him making it to the main roster. The video of Booker T's comments can be seen below.
