Booker T weighs in on Damian Priest cashing in.
Damian Priest has held the Money in the Bank briefcase since July 1, 2023 when he won the briefcase in the Money in the Bank ladder match. He has one year to cash in the contract, but has been thwarted in multiple attempts, including on Monday's WWE Raw Day One.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T was asked when Priest should cash in.
“I don’t know, man. That’s a hard question. I think Damian Priest has proved he’s a player, he’s a guy that has grown exponentially over the last year, year and a half, two years. He’s a totally different guy. I think when he does cash in, I think it’ll be the right time. The question is, is he ready for that spot when that moment happens? You’re not gonna know until it happens," he said.
Priest tried to cash in his briefcase on Monday's WWE Raw during the bout between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, but McIntyre stopped him.
