Bram Released From Impact Wrestling

The "Bram has resigned with TNA" meme is officially dead.

Bram announced on Twitter today that he has been granted his release from Impact Wrestling:

Sami Zayn Retains WWE Intercontinental Title, Chad Gable Turns On Him On 4/15 WWE Raw

He's been out of action since an undisclosed injury has kept him out for most of the year. He was last seen as a part of Pro Wrestling NOAH's Global Tag League, teaming with Robbie E. However, he was removed from that tour following a controversial image of him laying in a fridge full of ice cream at a convenience store. Although it doesn't sound like much, Japan is much stricter when it comes to rules of etiquette. Both he and the President of NOAH ended up apologizing for the incident.

Bram had been part of NXT as a part of the original incarnation of the Ascension with Konnor. He was released in November of 2012 after being attested for battery of a police officer and disorderly intoxication. He joined Impact in 2014, originally teaming and associating himself with Magnus.

He had most recently been a part of DCC with Kingston (who has also been released) and James Storm, but that group was disbanded shortly after Jeff Jarrett took over creative for the company.
