Brandi Rhodes Credits Paul Heyman With 'Designing' Unused 'Rhodes Industries' Vignette

Brandi Rhodes talks about the unseen Rhodes Industries vignette.

Brandy and Cody Rhodes were never seen together on-screen as an act until they left WWE in 2016 and arrived in IMPACT Wrestling at IMPACT Bound for Glory that year.

However, they did shoot a vignette together for WWE programming. The leaked vignette is for "Rhodes Industries" and sees Eden Stiles (Brandi) taking charge and offering prophetic words about Cody Rhodes being the hardest-working person in WWE and being overlooked. While that gimmick never reached television, Brandi is now opening up about Paul Heyman being the person who designed that leaked vignette.

"How apropos that Paul Heyman designed this video. So Paul Heyman was the brainchild behind this, and Paul Heyman was also very, very influential in trying to get me seen as something other than a ring announcer because I was in the role for four or five years. It's very hard to turn your attention, especially when you have new talent coming in and all this other stuff you're looking at. Why does the ring announcer now want to do something else? You know, so this was part of kind of the ploy to get them to say, 'Hey, she's got character work, she's got promo [ability], she can do these other things. He was super influential and helpful in that, and then now he's just a jerk," she said to DS Shin in a Ring The Belle interview.

Of course, Paul Heyman crossed paths with Cody Rhodes on the road to WrestleMania 39, and ultimately, Cody fell short to Roman Reigns at the event, much to the delight of Reigns' Wise Man.

Brandi Rhodes has not appeared as part of WWE storylines since Cody Rhodes' return in 2022. However, Heyman had no problem addressing Brandi on the road to WrestleMania.

According to Cody, Brandi is someone Paul Heyman should be wary of. Learn more here.
