Braun Strowman made his WWE debut two years ago today, interfering in a tag match between The Wyatt Family and Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose. He had never had a match in NXT and was basically a complete unknown to the WWE audience.
In two years, he has gone from a not-so-jolly (very) green giant, stomping around the ring, to facing Brock Lesnar in a one on one match for the title in the main event of a Pay-Per-View.
Braun knows how improbable his story is, and he posted this statement to his Instagram vowing that he's only just started.
Or, to borrow a certain phrase: He's not finished with us.
And on this day two years ago I introduced #TheMonsterAmongMen to the world!!!! It's crazy to look back at this photo because this was maybe the 9th time I'd ever been in front of a crowd. So many people judged me and said I would never be more than another failed attempt at a giant in the #WWE well guess what I proved every one of you wrong and I will continue to shut the mouths of naysayers because if you haven't figured it out yet I was born to do this and #BraunStrowman will be talked about and remembered FOREVER!!!! #IveOnlyJustBegun #IWillNeverBeFinished
